God Always Wins

My step-nephew, Ron, and I recently had a conversation about the disturbing current events and tension in the world. We talked about how much we need to pray for peace and justice. Ron ended with this thought: “Not to worry, Mary. God always wins.” Those words have continued to echo in my head ever since.

I once heard that we must counter every negative with a hundred positives. That task certainly will keep us busy today. We can soften every negative thought that comes to mind, disturbing image we see, and insult, slander, or bullying we hear, with our own loving thoughts, words, and actions, as well as our prayers.

So, let’s get busy people. That peace and justice is one more positive action away.
