Small but Mighty Mustard Seed

We say we believe, we trust the Lord to care for us and our needs. And then life gives us a reality check. We find that trust becomes so much more difficult when we are challenged. We lose a meaningful job, beautiful home, or more painfully, a loved one, and that measure of faith quickly fades.

Jesus told his disciples that if they had faith the size of the miniscule mustard seed, they could move mountains (Matthew 17:20). He also said that the mustard seed is the smallest of seeds but grows to a shrub substantial enough for birds to nest in (Matthew 13:31-32, Mark 4:31, Luke 13:19).

So many of us all across the globe are experiencing great loss. Our faith is being tested like never before. Hold strong and believe. Do what is in your ability to regroup, and allow God to direct and care for you, hopefully, to a level that is even better than it was.
