When Mary appeared to the shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal in 1917, she asked if they were willing to offer themselves to God. Lucia was only ten years old, Francisco-nine, and Jacinta was seven at the time, yet the young children said “Yes.”

God has a plan for all of us, but we have the choice to accept that plan or not. If you want to hear God’s desire for you, turn off the electronics. Sit alone, be silent, and wholly listen with your heart, mind, and soul.

Peace is found in the silence and your agreement to follow God’s direction.
