The older we get the more we tend to pray. Faithful people say that their connection with God grows greater with age.
Many reasons contribute toward this increase. We often have more time, and we definitely see the need for our children and ourselves. We want to leave a legacy of devotion and faith for generations to follow.
Few would argue that the world is in need of prayer. Despair, injustices, and disrespect for life and all creation is rampant. We pray that every single person on our planet takes one step closer to God, and that peace follows.
We also are aware that our personal relationship with God is of increasing importance. We want to go directly into the arms of our Lord. We want our God to smile upon us as we cross, acknowledging that we loved as God loves.
