When we share what we know, we multiply our knowledge endlessly. Show your daughter how to change a tire, teach your neighbor how to bake bread,or introduce a co-worker to someone who could advance their career, and you not only assist that one person, but all who they touch as well.
Technology allows us to mentor one another in so many ways. There’s Skype, Facetime, Youtube, texting, Facebook messaging and posting, blogging, phoning, and of course, old-fashioned face-to-face contact. All it takes is a couple of minutes and a handful of kind words or ones that point them in the right direction.
Saint Theodore had few ways to teach, advice, or guide her sisters across Indiana and Illinois. Personal contact waited until she traveled to them or they returned to the motherhouse for summer meetings. Her other alternative was to write letters that could take days or even weeks to reach them. So she wrote thousands of those letters.
Take advantage of our endless ways to communicate. Multiply your God-given gifts, talents, and knowledge by sharing them with those around you.
